Presidential hopeful Wesley Clark has faced his wartime foe Slobodan Milosevic (mil-OSS`-uh-vitch) for the first time since the former Yugoslav leader`s fall. Clark, who lives at Little Rock, testified today in the war-crimes trial of Milosevic at The Hague, in the Netherlands. Afterward, Clark accused Milosevic of responsibility for years of death and destruction in the Balkans. Clark, a retired four-star general and former NATO supreme commander, took a hiatus from his campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination to testify. After testifying behind closed doors, Clark declined to give details of what had gone on inside during about five hours of hearings. He is barred under court rules from discussing any details. But he said Milosevic`s trial will help bring a sense of closure to the millions of victims of Balkan atrocities.
