Legendary Crooner Tony Bennett performed for more than 4,000 fans at the Summit Arena in Hot Springs Saturday. Convention Center executives chose Bennett to headline the grand opening of the newly-built Summit Arena. This is the first time Bennett has performed in the Spa City in more than forty years. The legendary singer first performed in Hot Springs in 1961, marking the first time he performed his signature tune "I Left My Heart in San Francisco." He recorded it after a bartendar told him to. Bennett won back-to-back Grammys in the early nineties and was nominated for two more this week.
