Doctors at Arkansas Children`s Hospital have treated hundreds of children affected by a violent strain of the flu. 250 children were treated in November. Doctors say this is one of the worst flu seasons but couldn`t determine why. "The exact causes for why this particular flu season has already been worse than others is something we may never know all the details about," says Dr. Jerril Green with Arkansas Children`s Hospital. The Health Department says three people died from the flu in Arkansas. Experts recommend getting a flu shot and frequent hand washing with hot water and soap.
