Teens in central Arkansas now have a place they can call their own. The Thrasher Boys and Girls Club, on S. State Street, cut the ribbon Tuesday morning for its new 2,100 square foot teen center. Inside, computers, t.v., and workout equipment especially for teenagers. The $225,000-center was donated by the Associated General Contractors. Organizers say they`re hoping the center will encourage more neighborhood teens to join the club.
