Bobcat Spotted in Downtown Little Rock

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A run of the mill Monday, turned out to be much more exciting for Statehouse Convention workers once they spotted a bobcat napping out on the building`s ledge. A worker saw the cat and called Arkansas Game and Fish Wildlife officers to get him down. When they tried to tranquilize him, the scaredy cat jumped from the lege and ran through a few parking lots and finally escaped into a storm drain. Officers are hoping he`ll find his way back to where he came from. Although they`re not sure, officers say he was likely a house pet because he was much calmer than wild bobcats, and because it`s such an unusual event.
