Arkansas Shoppers Hit The Mall

Thousands of Arkansas shoppers hit the malls early Friday to get a jump on the hectic, holiday shopping season. Park Plaza Mall reported an increase in foot traffic Friday from last year. The Friday after Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the official holiday shopping season. Shoppers came to Little Rock from as far away as Hot Springs and Texarkana. Some spent as much as $400 before noon. Economist predict this could be one of the most successful shopping seasons in recent years.
