Shoppers Start Early

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Early morning holiday shoppers are crowding stores in Little Rock trying to grab bargains. Customers started arriving at Best Buy at one-30 in the morning to be first in line. One group brought out patio chairs, fired up a propane-powered space heater and wrapped themselves in blankets. At Target, Christy Womack said she didn`t go to sleep last night, instead waiting since 3:45 this morning to buy a bicycle for her son. Lines also formed across parking lots at Circuit City, Wal-Mart and Toys R Us. The line at Best Buy curved around the building by four a-m. Managers there are serving coffee, selling donuts and passing out cookies.
