breaking news
Family, shelter and employment are probably on your list of things to be thankful for this year. Life is what tops the list for one Jefferson county teen. Jenna Beck almost lost hers in June when her truck ran off Highway 11 and ended up upside down in a ditch. With a swelling brain, damaged spleen and two crushed arms, doctors told her parents they`d never seen anyone that injured recover. Well, they hadn`t seen Jenna before. Everything the Beck family was advised Jenna might never be able to do again, she accomplished. The only obstacle Jenna didn`t have any control over was the loss of her left arm. While many people tell her they`d never be able to handle life as an amputee, Jenna says " I just accpeted it because i know that maybe God meant for this to happen and He`ll bring something good out of this."
In Jenna`s mind that`s already started. Since her accident, the formerly shy Jenna`s been speaking to youth and church groups in her area. She says she wants other teens to realize how precious and fragile life is, so they don`t waste a minute.
