Updated: January 7, 2009
Democratic presidential candidate Wesley Clark says his primary opponents are "carving up each other up" with accusations. The retired Army general says the only carving he plans to do is tomorrow, when he shows off his skills on turkeys at Watershed community project in Little Rock. He plans to help serve the meal to needy families. The retired Army general did pick a few bones with some of his rivals, however, when asked how he`d weaken the power of special interests in Washington. Clark did say a few words critical of his opponents when it comes to fund-raising, though. He called on Howard Dean and John Kerry, who both plan to opt out of the public campaign finance system. He said they should adhere to spending limits in the first primary state of New Hampshire. Posted by Mike Hellgren
