6 people killed in Faulkner County accidents

Four accidents during the last 10 days have taken the lives of 6 people. All of the accidents have occurred in Faulkner County, two on Interstate 40 near construction zones. Wet road conditions was a contributing factor in 2 of the accidents. The Highway Department began removing concrete barriers on Interstate 40 today. The department was planning to remove the barriers before all of the accidents, hoping to make the holidays a little safer on the roadways. There will be no lane closures in Conway over the holiday weekend.
