AARP Denies Report on Social Security Cuts

The Wall Street Journal reported today that the group is willing to change its long-standing opposition to the cuts.
But A-A-R-P's legislative policy director says nothing's changed and the Wall Street Journal got it wrong.
He says the group is only discussing changes to Social Security to strengthen it in the long-term, including raising the retirement age.
House Republicans have pushed for a restructuring of Social Security and Medicare benefits to help solve the nation's debt troubles.
