Local Company Posts Record Numbers

Riceland Foods has posted a record 873 million dollar in sales in its fiscal 2003 year, The cooperative credits improved crop prices and strong exports for the record number.
In addition, Riceland says Arkansas has a near-record rice crop that helped increase sales figures last year.
Based in Stuttgart, Riceland is the country`s largest rice miller. It also reported 470 million dollars in income and said the co-op returned 98 percent of that to its nine-thousand members
in cash payments.
