Clark RV Leaves Little Rock

Retired General Wesley Clark`s presidential campaign kicked off the southern leg of an R-V tour this afternoon. Four campaign staffers -- including a videographer -- will ride in the twenty-nine foot long R-V, passing out thousands of Clark candy bars. The van left from Little Rock`s Union Station this afternoon and is headed for northwest Arkansas tonight, where Clark will meet up with the staffers. The candidate plans appearances in Fayetteville and Springdale tonight. Campaign organizers are touting the tour as a combination of old school grassroots politicking with a new technological twist. Daily video journals of the trip can be accessed on Clark`s Web site. Another R-V left from New York City yesterday with plans to stop in several northeastern states -- including the first early primary state -- New Hampshire.
