A real razorback was not welcome amid a crowd
of school children in Pine Bluff.
Police and animal control officers isolated then shot and killed
the tucked wild hog yesterday after it showed up at a school bus
stop, terrorizing children.
Sergeant James Golden says the black boar was cornered in a
nearby thicket and an officer ended the situation with one shot
from his handgun.
University of Arkansas teams are called the Razorbacks, known
affectionately as the Hawgs.
