Razorback Causes Stir In Pine Bluff

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A real razorback was not welcome amid a crowd of school children in Pine Bluff. Police and animal control officers isolated then shot and killed the tucked wild hog yesterday after it showed up at a school bus stop, terrorizing children. Sergeant James Golden says the black boar was cornered in a nearby thicket and an officer ended the situation with one shot from his handgun. University of Arkansas teams are called the Razorbacks, known affectionately as the Hawgs. Posted by Mike Hellgren
