President Notices Governor`s Weight Loss

President Bush noticed a new and improved
Governor Huckabee when the pair met on the tarmac at Little Rock
National Airport today.
Bush mentioned Huckabee`s loss of 75 pounds over about five
months during his speech at a Little Rock fundraiser. Bush referred
to Huckabee as "skinny" and says he almost did NOT recognize him.
The governor has lost the weight through exercise and eating
health food ever since he was diagnosed with diabetes in June.
Huckabee and his wife, Janet, rode with President Bush in his
limousine to and from the airport. After Bush departed, Huckabee
said the president congratulated him on his diet.
Bush was in Little Rock to raise money for his re-election bid.
