Christmas Lights Up in the Heights

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The Christmas season is officially here for merchants and residents in the Heights and Hillcrest neighborhoods. Shops and florists held an open house Sunday afternoon. Businesses showed off their Christmas decorations and shoppers saw what`s "in" for the season. The open house has been a tradition here for about 50 years and some of the popular decorations have revolved over time. "The decorations come around, what we saw 20 years ago, might be back in style, but it might be changed a little," said Howard Hurst, of Tipton and Hurst.
