breaking news
One election commissioner has a lot to say about what he calls `big problems` with the voter rolls.
CHARLES KING IS ONE OF THOUSANDS OF VOTERS WHO WENT TO THE POLLS IN LITTLE ROCK YESTERDAY.
BUT HE SAYS HIS EXPERIENCE WAS ROUGH.
HIS NAME WASN`T ON THE ROLL AT THE PRECINCT WHERE HE`D VOTED FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS.
NOW HE`S CALLING FOR CHANGE IN COUNTY CLERK CAROLYN STALEY`S OFFICE BECAUSE OF THAT.
CHARLES KING/ELECTION COMMISSIONER
"If we can recall people in California, there should be some provisions in Arkansas to do it. Too many people have gone too long to be disenfranchised from this basic right in this country, which is the right to cast their vote and have that vote counted."
STALEY`S OFFICE TOLD US THE VOTER ROLLS ARE GETTING MORE ACCURATE EVERY DAY, AND THE ELECTION YESTERDAY WAS SMOOTH.
