More Men Charged In Case Of Sexual Abuse Of Boys

The prosecutor in Izard County has updated rape charges in a yearslong case and added charges against five more men. In all, six men are now accused of playing a part in the sodomy, abuse and photographing of five boys in the small community of Horseshoe Bend between 1997 and 2000. One of the alleged victims hanged himself this year. The six charged yesterday will be arraigned November 12th in Izard County. The new trial is scheduled for April. The prosecutor has asked that the trial be moved because of publicity about the case.
