State Fair Attendance Breaks Records

More than 400,000 people made it out to the 2003 Arkansas State Fair, making it one of the most-attended state fairs in the events 64 year history.
The total is about 40,000 more than last year. On Saturday alone, this year`s total outpaced last year`s by more than 23,000. In fact, all ten days were improvements on last year`s totals.
Two of the days, Monday and Friday, set all-time attendance records. As a whole, the attendance for this year`s fair is the highest in twelve years, when an all-time total of 428,000 people attended the 1991 Arkansas State Fair.
