Arrangements Made For Governor McMath

The body of former Arkansas Governor Sid McMath will lie in state at the Capitol in Little Rock tomorrow. The 91-year-old McMath died at his home in Little Rock on Saturday night. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pulaski Heights Methodist Church in Little Rock. Burial with full military honors will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. A reception will be held at the church following the burial. McMath will lie in state in the Capitol rotunda from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow, accompanied by a U.S. Marine honor guard. McMath was a retired Marine who served in World War Two and reached the rank of Major General in the reserves. Yesterday Governor Mike Huckabee ordered all state flags flown at half-staff until McMath`s burial.
