A Marine Corp soldier who spent three months in Iraq describes it as "dangerous, but worth it."
Corporal Donald Stone, part of Marine Support Wing 172, ventured into Baghdad weeks after enemy troops fired on previous convoys.
"I`ve never been in a situation like that, but I knew I was ready to go do my duty," says Stone.
Stone was responsible for loading military aircraft with fuel and cargo. He also repaired military vehicles.
Stone says invading Iraq was worth it, even though it will take billions to rebuild the war-torn country.
"I think it`s going to be a bigger, better Iraq," says Stone. "I think they need a taste of freedom to see how we have it."
On Monday, Stone will head back to the Marine Corp Station in North Carolina to resume his training.
