Clark Talks To Maxim

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Democratic presidential candidate Wesley Clark of Little Rock talks about being shot in Vietnam in a magazine interview. The interview with the retired general is published in Maxim magazine`s November issue. Three decades after being shot, Clark can joke about it. Clark describes being shot in the leg and shoulder as he entered a base camp north of Saigon. Clark says when the doctor told him he had a "million-dollar wound," he was scared because he thought he would be disfigured. A million-dollar wound typically means a non-life-threatening injury that gets a soldier sent home. Clark recovered. The interview was conducted two weeks before Clark became the 10th Democrat to declare a presidential bid. Posted by Mike Hellgren
