Arkansas` Ranking for Campaign Finance Disclosure

There`s a new study out on how the states rank in disclosing political campaign financing... we hit at 41st. The Campaign Disclosure Act ranking shows Arkansas scored higher in the strength of its campaign disclosure requirements but uniformly low in the accessibility of campaign data to the public. The report says the state is lacking because there is a no electronic filing system. Secretary of State Charlie Daniels` office says officials are working to develop a voluntary electronic filing system within the next year or so.
