Wesley Clark`s campaign went back and forth
on participating in next week`s Democratic presidential debate and
now says the former general will accept the invitation.
A Clark campaign official told The Associated Press on the
condition of anonymity that Clark will send a letter to Democratic
Party Chairman Terry McAuliffe saying Clark will debate.
The Clark official says the letter is to be delivered today,
weather permitting.
The debate will be the second in a series of six sponsored by
the DNC and will focus on economic issues.
It will be broadcast live on CNBC.
