Former General Wesley Clark stopped
in Florida for his first official campaign appearance outside of
Little Rock on Thursday. Clark appeared at a deli in the Fort
Lauderdale area, where about 300 people cheered his criticisms of
President Bush`s handling of the war in Iraq.
Clark still has not detailed his specific policy proposals, but
said in an interview that he expects to have his policies ready
within a month. He says that will allow voters plenty of time to
study his proposals before primary voting begins.
Clark said Bush`s tax cuts did not provide enough of an economic
stimulus to Americans, but he said he would not reverse those tax
breaks.
