Has U.S. Changed Since 9/11?

Two years after the attacks that changed the nation...some local residents wonder whether or not we`ve changed enough. Immediately after the attacks, patriotism was high, church attendance was up and there was much more sensitivity to violence in television and the movies. But this year, violent movies like "Terminator 3" and "Bad Boys II" were summer blockbusters. While the memories are fresh on the 2nd anniversary of the attacks, some say we quickly forget. "Now two years later, we see church attendance where it was. Once again the violence, we`re not worried about the video games, the movies, anymore. We`ve become somewhat desensitized," said Pastor Rod Loy, 1st Assembly of God, in North Little Rock. Some say the big change since the attacks is the increased airline security and considering what other targets we have for terrorists. "We`ve started looking at other types of biological, chemical concerns. There are concerns about protecting nuclear facilities, water resources," said Dr. Terry Richard, sociology direcort, UALR.
