North Little Rock Woman Without Wheels

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A North Little Rock woman says she is without a car because of a dispute over labor costs. Karen Patterson says her extended warranty coverage will not pay for 21 hours of labor needed to install an engine. In March, Patterson bought an extended service contract with Wynn`s Warranty, based in California. A company spokesman says it only takes 11.5 hours to install that type of engine. Mechanics at North Point Superstore weren`t available for comment. Patterson filed a complaint against Wynn`s Warranties with the Attorney General`s office.
