Little Rock Medic Killed In Iraq To Be Honored By Military

The military is honoring a medic from Little Rock, who died during fighting in Iraq. Michael Vann Johnson Junior died March 25th when shrapnel from a grenade hit him as he helped a wounded Marine. The Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, California, is to name a medical building in Johnson`s honor. Johnson served at the Branch Medical Clinic in San Diego, supporting troops during their training before he shipped to Iraq. The clinic will be renamed during a September 17th ceremony.
