A Little Rock man faces a fine and possible
jail time, after wearing a skimpy bathing suit into a fast-food
restaurant during the Labor Day weekend.
Workers at a Taco Bell in Caddo Valley called police Sunday when
Phillip Beard walked into the restaurant wearing only a tiny black
Speedo bathing suit and a dark T-shirt that barely reached his
waist.
Caddo Valley Police Chief Hiram Latin said Beard`s attire, or
lack thereof, was a little too revealing.
Beard faces a $750 fine and possible jail time if
convicted of indecent exposure. Under state law, a person can be
charged with indecent exposure if, quote, "he knows his conduct is
likely to cause affront or alarm." Police ticketed Beard and took
photos of him in the Speedo, for use in court.
