North Central Arkansans are finally drying out Tuesday after several weather swept through their areas, shutting down roads and raising fears. Izard, Sharp and Stone counties all saw between 5 to 7 inches of rain in three hours, according to the Office of Emergency Management. Water crested near several homes, shutting down roads for about four hours. No one was hurt or displaced by the flooding. Power went out in Melbourne but was later restored. Emergency Management officials haven`t decided whether to apply for disaster relief.
