Little Rock Band Goes Home Empty Handed From Video Music Awards

Evanescence, the hit rock band from Little Rock went home empty-handed from the Video Music Awards.
The group`s video for "Bring Me to Life," featuring Paul McCoy, was nominated in two categories: Best New Artist in a Video and Best Rock Video.
Rapper 50 Cent took home Best New Artist award for "In Da Club" and rock band Linkin Park won the Best Rock Video award for its video "Somewhere I Belong."
The members of Evanescence appeared on the stage early in the show to present the award for Best Video in a Film, which was won by Eminem for "Lose Yourself" in the movie "8 Mile."
Evanescence`s album "Fallen" has sold 1.8 million copies since its March release.
