AARP Wants To Ensure Safe Nursing Home Care

Members of the American Association of Retired Persons- or AARP- are calling for a special legislative subcommittee to investigate what they call a Crisis in Care. Leaders want the joint committee to determine if existing laws and regulations are adequate to ensure the safety and health of Arkansas` nursing homes residents. Leaders say they want the committee to make recommendations for changes that could protect our most frail elderly in the future.
