Overcrowding Sends Students to Hotels

Arkansas Tech University in Russellville is experiencing growing pains again this year. Despite opening a new dormitory last year -- more than one-hundred students are being put up in local hotel rooms. There`s simply not enough room for them all on campus. Students, however, aren`t complaining. "They said a couple of weeks, but hopefully it will be longer because I`m enjoying it right now," says Russell Hodde, a freshman staying at Super 8. The hotel situation is just temporary. Tech expects dorm rooms to open up on campus in the coming weeks. Story filed by: Lyndall Stout
