Children`s Hospital Expands

A research center at Arkansas Children`s Hospital in Little Rock is planning a 14 million dollar expansion. The Arkansas Children`s Hospital Research Institute will add about 20 labs and space for future expansion. The nonprofit also will expand its animal-research space and its clinical-research unit, where outpatient drug trials are conducted. The institute houses laboratory space for pediatric researchers from the hospital and from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
