East Arkansas Gets Help After Monster Storm

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Part of east Arkansas will get state help, to recover from the monster storm that hit there two weeks ago. People in Crittenden County are eligible for housing assistance, and money to pay for damaged property and provide transportation. That same storm also turned out the lights to many homes in Memphis, Tennessee. As of Monday, around 15-thousand people are still without power there. Right now, crews are working around the clock to get the lights back on.
