A group working to convince retired Army
General Wesley Clark to run for president is moving its
headquarters from Washington D.C. to Little Rock.
Jeff Dailey of Little Rock is co-chairman of Arkansans for
Clark. He says the coming move by Draft Clark 2004 to Arkansas
gives local volunteers more encouragement about a potential
presidential bid.
Clark grew up in Little Rock. He`s a Rhodes Scholar, West Point
graduate and former NATO commander. Clark has not agreed to run but
says he`s seriously considering a bid for the presidency. If he
does run, it would likely be as a Democrat.
A series of Draft Clark meetings are planned around Arkansas for
tonight, from Little Rock to Fayetteville to Mountain View.
