Most of the state`s colleges and universities have beaten the deadline to register their international students in a federal database. The deadline for getting the foreign students registered was Friday. The state`s largest schools had all of their international students logged on the Internet database by Wednesday. That includes the University of Arkansas campus at Fayetteville, Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and Harding University in Searcy. Officials who oversee foreign students said they had to meet the deadline to make sure the students could enter the country to begin the fall semester.
