Arkansas Fishing Report with Big Sarge (May 9 - May 15)

Brim fishing is going to be really good at the next moon but there are some beds out there right now, but all lakes are reporting right now that the brim are all moving up shallow so get out there if you want to catch some brim.

I got two lakes right now that are extremely hot. Lake Conway, Lake Atkins.

Lake Conway, you can fish white spinner baits if it's windy, floating worms and crank baits if it's not.
Lake Atkins: really hot right now. Go out there, check with Lucky Landing.  They're catching 'em on green pumpkin seed sinkos -- they're catching between eight and ten pounds.  That's some good fish to go out there and handle so go out there and hit them.

Lake Ouachita: right now you can get out there and fish a floating worm but you need to fish it inside the brush, not around it but inside the flooded brush.
The river right now has a small craft warning but it is coming down.
Lake Maumelle: the east side is really clear right now.  You can use a jig, floating worm; the west end, if you're fishing it, use a spinner bait.

They are catchin 'em with green pumpkin sinkos.  They are really tearin' them up at Lake Atkins catchin between eight and ten pound bass.
