Lake Maumelle: you can catch bass on jigs, 4-10 feet away from the bank.
Lake DeGray: my friend there, Tammy Richardson, caught a 3lb 8oz crappie Wednesday. She caught it with a kalin grub Tennessee shad. You need to fish all along Cedar Points with brush. Fish your bobber about 4-10 feet above the brush tops.
Lake Ouachita (hot spot)
--Cedar Fouche: when you come into the arm of Cedar Fouche, try to fish everything on the right side. The crappie's moving up on the moss so you can catch a lot with a Tennessee shad, kalin grub.
--Twin Creek: you need to fish both sides of the cove going in. Last week when it was 70 degrees, you had to pick a number to get in there to fish. Fish that Tennessee shad and you're going to catch some crappie.
--Underneath Highway 27 bridge: stripers are starting to hit top water baits. The bait of choice right now is called a C10 red fin.
