Arkansas Fishing Report with Big Sarge (March 21 - 27)

Lake Ouachita, though, Cedar Fourche, the Blakely's, Northfork and Southfork if you get some kalin grubs and Tennessee shad, you're gonna catch a lot of crappie. Fish 7 - 8 foot over 25 foot brush piles.
Lake Conway's by far my hottest place right now. Caney Creek, Gold Creek, Pierce Creek, Adam's Lake in the Cyprus Knobs and the Hog Island.
The bait of choice for Lake Conway right now is the electric chicken. That's a jig that looks like a pink minnow.
What I've done is I've got it hooked up on a 32 oz. jig. You want to make sure you keep it on a loose knot. That way it's floating free under the water.
They're concentrating on finding cypress trees, but the cypress knobs beside them -- four or five feet outside the cypress trees -- that's where you're gonna catch your crappie; that's where you're gonna have your best luck.
