This month's theme is “Celebrating women in the 501.”
501 LIFE We selected three women for its main feature story – Michelle Parsley, Lisa Lovell and Julie Woodard. Each has been highly successful in her chosen field and shares her background, personal challenges and advice.
There's also a feature on Katie Moseby whose hard work and determination have inspired her children and others.
In the neighbors section, there's a look at an up-and-coming music program at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton offering students new opportunities, and Shannah Cummings is leading the way.
Also this month, Conway Fire Chief Bart Castleberry and his wife, Melissa, recently sat down with 501 LIFE and talked about the chief’s upcoming retirement and their memories of the department.
And the March 2011 Person of the Month is Shekinna Stricklen, a Morrilton High grad, who is having success on the basketball court at the University of Tennessee.
