Arkansas Fishing Report with Big Sarge (Feb. 28 - March 6)

Bass fishing is good at Lake DeGray with jerk baits in extremely shallow water -- five feet up to the bank.
The best spot for bass, though, is Lake Ouachita. Using a one ounce rattletrap red, when you put in at Crystal Springs, you want to go straight across to Cedar Fourche. Anything on the north side is good right now. Just find some grass and use your rattletrap. If that doesn't work too well for you, go up into the Little Blakely area.
If you don't want to travel too far, go back down south to Crystal Springs and set up by the marina. They're catching a lot of bass right now using a one ounce or three-quarter ounce rattletrap red.
