Lake Dardanelle
Fish 7-10 ft. Use minnows or chartreuse/red jigs and silver glitter has been working as well. Try Spadra area around wood.
Lake Maumelle
Still biting good. Fish 15-20 ft. Try 1/32 oz. red/white jigs and pink minnows. Try areas: Northshore and Big Island.
TROUT
Hot Spot: Little Red River
Great time for fly fishing. Brown and rainbow are good. Fish deep side of shoals. Use sow bugs and zebra midge and egg pattern. For more information, call Billy at Lindsey's Resort, 1-800-305-8790.
BASS
Hot Spot: Lake DeGray
Some good schooling going on now. Use topwater baits (pop'r's, zara spooks). Try areas: back of creeks and major pockets.
Greers Ferry
Try swim baits, 4-inch grubs and shallow running crankbaits with square bills. Try areas: backs of creeks and need to look for bait fish.
WALLEYE
Hot Spot: Greers Ferry still good
Fish secondary points and ledges. Use spoons and/or live bait rigs.
BREAM
Lake Conway is good. Fish shallow.
NOTE: Most lakes are cooling off. Some reporting in the 60's. Bait will start to move to the backs of creeks and pockets. Bass and other fish will follow. Look for birds flying over and check or graph. When you find bait, you will find fish.
