43-Thousand Run in Annual NYC Marathon

About 43-thousand people from more than 100 countries participated in yesterday's New York City Marathon.

Gebre Gebremariam of Ethiopia and Edna Kiplagat of Kenya were the men's and women's champions.

A Chilean miner who spent 69 days trapped underground with 32 other miners also completed the 26-point-two mile race.

Edison Pena overcame severe knee pain to complete the marathon in five hours and 51 minutes.
