Training Meeting Tuesday for Little Rock Marathon

Five months from now the streets of downtown Little Rock will fill with runners of the Little Rock Marathon.

The annual race is on March 6th but for many people planning to participate, the training is well underway.

Marathon coaches have been assisting runners for months now as they get in shape for the race.

Another training meeting is Tuesday at the Crowne Plaza on Shackleford Road in west Little Rock.

The topic is "Equipment - from your head to your feet - what's necessary and what's just plain fun!"

The meeting starts at six o'clock.
