Updated: April 4, 2013

Jessica Dean co-anchors KARK 4's 5, 6 & 10PM weeknight newscasts. She joined the weeknight team in October 2011, just over one year after joining us as weekend anchor in September 2010.

Since 2006, Jessica, a Little Rock native, has interviewed hundreds of Arkansas news makers from celebrities to everyday people. Prior to working here, Jessica spent three and a half years at KATV Channel 7 in Little Rock as a reporter and Saturday Daybreak co-anchor. She was also the "Choose Your News" correspondent, using social media and technology to incorporate viewers into everyday news gathering. Before that, Jessica worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at KFTA/KNWA in Fayetteville and Fort Smith.

Jessica graduated Cum Laude in 2006 from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles with a degree in broadcast journalism. During her time in Los Angeles, Jessica interned at NBC News for Dateline NBC, assisting with interviews of Ellen DeGeneres and the cast of "Meet the Fockers," among others. She also spent time studying in Madrid, Spain.

As a native Arkansan, Jessica loves being back in her home state where she can tell the stories of her fellow Arkansans. When she's not working, Jessica loves to travel, read and try out as many restaurants as possible. She and her husband, Blake, live in Little Rock with their beloved dog, Finn.
