Creamy Banana Pudding

By: Chris McGuire
Updated: June 11, 2010
3-4 medium size bananas
1 bag vanilla wafers
1 family size box instant vanilla pudding
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can of water
2 8 oz containers of cool whip
Lemon juice
1/4 cup chocolate chips

Pour sweetened condensed milk into a mixing bowl. Mix in one can of water.  Using a whisk, mix in the instant vanilla pudding.  Let mixture chill for 10 minutes.

Pour some lemon juice into a bowl.  Slice each banana into lemon juice to coat.

Remove pudding mixture from refrigerator and fold in the cool whip until it is mixed in well.  Start layering the serving bowl with first the pudding mixture, a layer of vanilla wafers, then the lemon juice coated bananas.
Finish with the last of the pudding mixture on top, then place a layer of vanilla wafers as the final layer.  Top with cool whip. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.   Cover and chill for at least an hour before serving.
