A woman has been arrested at state lottery headquarters in Little Rock after allegedly trying to cash a bogus ticket.

Little Rock Police say Carmelia Johnson, 43, was taken into custody Wednesday morning after presenting an altered lottery ticket for redemption.

Police say lottery employee Remmele Mazyck told officers the ticket was actually two tickets put together to appear to be a winner.

Johnson is being held at the Pulaski County Jail on a fraud charge.
