Powerball Jackpot Grows to $45 Million

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: April 30, 2010
The Powerball jackpot has grown to $45-million after no winner took the grand prize in Wednesday night's drawing. The winning numbers were 12 - 22 - 25 - 28 - 44, PB 24, Power Play x4.

Five lucky tickets in Florida (1), Illinois (1), South Carolina (1), Tennessee (1), and Virginia (1) matched all 5 white numbers and won $200,000 cash each.

In addition, 641,005 tickets across the nation won a total of $6,108,659 in prizes. One of those was a $10,000 winning ticket sold in Arkansas. It matched four white balls and the Powerball but did not include the Power Play which would have quadrupled the prize to $40,000.

The cash option for the Saturday, May 1st drawing will be an estimated $21.9 million.

Players should carefully check their tickets after every draw. Even if there are no jackpot winners there are always tens of thousands of winners at other prize levels.

KARK 4 is the only Little Rock television station where players can watch live Mega Millions and Powerball drawings.
