Eat the Gu for Energy

To “gu” or not to gu?”
That was Tuesday night’s topic for the Little Rock Marathon training meeting.

Little Rock Parks and Recreation is offering free training programs all over the state to get athletes ready for the race.

Nutritionists focused on this unique gel, or “gu,” that gives you a boost of energy during the race.

“It’s like an extra energy boost for when you're running low on energy, you stop for a minute and eat your goo and that gives you that extra boost to keep on going,” said Andrea Webster, a marathon participant.

KARK is a proud sponsor of the Little Rock Marathon training meetings.
